Free-to-Play Shooter Warframe Out Now on Nintendo Switch

Announced at TennoCon 2018, Waframe is finally out on the Nintendo Switch. The Warframe Nintendo Switch download size is 12.5GB via the Nintendo eShop. It follows the footsteps of free-to-play fare like Fortnite and Paladins gracing the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch version of Warframe is being developed by Panic Button rather than creator Digital Extremes. Heartening when you consider Panic Button was behind Doom, Rocket League, and most recently Wolfenstein 2.
We took Warframe on the Nintendo Switch for a short spin and were surprised at how well-optimised it is on the console, maintaining a smooth frame rate even in busy sections of play at least in our brief time with the game. Sadly, there's no Warframe cross-platform play yet, though those who have been playing the game on PC can carry over their progress to the Nintendo Switch.
Warframe is a third-person shooter that lets you master the titular Warframe armour as Tenno, a race of ancient warriors brought back from centuries of cryo-sleep by a guide known as Lotus. There are over 35 different Warframes to choose from, a wealth of customisation options, and upgrades galore. The game also features the ability to join clans and have pets. The game first released in 2013 and has seen a ton of updates since including open-world areas like the Plains of Eidolon and the recently released Fortuna.
At X018, it was announced that Warframe on the Xbox One would get keyboard and mouse support.
Keyboard and mouse support won't be enabled by default for Xbox One games and will instead be “added on a title-by-title basis, entirely at developers' discretion”, Microsoft noted when it announced the feature back in September. It further added: "Each development team knows their titles best and we support them in creating the right experience for their games as they see fit, to ensure an optimal and fair gaming experience."

Kingdom Hearts 3 Is Ready for Release: Square Enix

Kingdom Hearts 3 Is Ready for Release: Square Enix

Development on Kingdom Hearts 3 has completed. The PS4 and Xbox One action role-playing game was officially announced at E3 2013. Now, Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that the game is ready for release. The Kingdom Hearts 3 release date is January 29 internationally. With publisher Square Enix focussing on getting Final Fantasy XV out of the door, it's no surprise that Kingdom Hearts 3 took a back seat. As for a Kingdom Hearts 3 India release date, it will be interesting to see if it shows up on time.
Reason being, Republic Day is three days prior and its during this national holiday that customs authorities needed to clear imports are not working. In the past games releasing around this time frame were delayed as well. Hopefully this won't be the case this time around given the popularity of Disney's franchises in India.
"I'm proud to unveil an extended version of the trailer that's been playing in NA cinemas," Nomura's tweet reads. "And guess what? We've wrapped up development of #KingdomHearts III! If you haven't had the chance yet, now would be a good time to prep by playing 1.5+2.5 & 2.8. See you next month!"
The trailer he refers to is titled 'Together' and has been playing in American movie theatres. It highlights new and returning worlds in the series such as those based on Frozen, Hercules, Toy Story and Pirates of the Caribbean. Furthermore, Square Enix recently released Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far for the PS4. It includes all Kingdom Hearts content of importance leading upto Kingdom Hearts 3 featuring eight games and a movie. It's yet to release in India.

Diablo 4 Codename Is Fenris, May Have Social Features Like Destiny:

Diablo 4 Codename Is Fenris, May Have Social Features Like Destiny:
Diablo 4 Codename Is Fenris, May Have Social Features Like Destiny: Report
Diablo 4 is in development and it's codename is Fenris. Although Diablo 4 wasn't revealed at BlizzCon 2018, it appears that Blizzard is hard at work on the game since 2016. According to a recent report, a second expansion to Diablo 3 after the superlative Reaper of Souls was canceled to make way for a fully-fledged sequel. One of these attempts, codenamed Hades, was helmed by Reaper of Souls director Josh Mosqueira. Apparently Hades was inspired by Dark Souls to the point where it had a third-person camera instead of the isometric camera the series is known for and was cancelled after a rocky development period, succeeded by Fenris, which some claim is in better shape than Hades.
"[Design director] Luis [Barriga] has a very strong vision for that game," said a former employee to Kotaku, "one that a lot of people are excited about at Blizzard."
"There's a lot of people who felt like Diablo 3 got away from what made Diablo Diablo in terms of art style and spell effects,” said a current Blizzard employee, adding that Fenris is aiming to look more like the beloved Diablo 2. Said another: "They want to make this gross, make it dark, [get rid of] anything that was considered cartoony in Diablo 3… Make what people were afraid of in Diablo 2, but modern."
What's more is, Fenris will take inspiration from Destiny with strike missions and social interactions similar to Bungie's shared world shooter.
"The question that kept getting asked is, 'If there's going to be a 'strike' equivalent, where you're forced into a very story-focused, well-designed level of a dungeon, what does that look like in Diablo?" said one person familiar with the project. "What if we still had a core Diablo game that just happened to have a bunch of people on the map to do other cool stuff?"
Interestingly, the project is so early in development that it has several unknowns, such as if it will be on PC first like past games or release at the same time on other platforms, its monetisation is yet to be nailed down, and even what choice of camera perspective it would give players is yet to be tackled. Safe to say, we won't be seeing Diablo 4 any time soon.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Release Date Broken Internationally

November 22, 2018 0
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate release date is December 7 for the Nintendo Switch. However it appears that copies of Nintendo's hotly anticipating fighting game have leaked early. Retail copies of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have surfaced on the Internet almost two weeks before release date. News of an early leak made its way to popular video game forum ResetEra via Twitter, with an account by the name of ferdkssb48 tweeting the game's box art as well as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate screenshots. These were soon verified by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fan account, SSBUNews to be legitimate.
"We were able to privately confirm that this is indeed real," a tweet from SSBUNews reads in response to the leak. "The person claims to have no interst (sic)  in spoiling anything in regards to World of Light or Classic Mode. However, it should be noted that if one copy is out in the wild, it is very likely that there may be more."
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the fifth instalment in the long-running fighting franchise, and the first since Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in 2014. It includes every character from all past entries in the series, including the likes of Mario, Kirby, Bowser, Link, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Mewtwo, Sonic, Pikachu, Captain Falcon, Squirtle, and Charizard among others.
Smash Bros. is a big franchise for Nintendo, which is why there's a special Super Smash Bros. Ultimate-themed Nintendo Switch bundle available November 2 in the US, and a special edition Switch Pro Controller that was announced in August and will launch December 7 alongside the game. You can also opt for the classic GameCube controller, available November 2.
The game is expected to have a file size of 16GB, which would make it the biggest Nintendo first-party game in terms of file size at launch.

Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm Working on Chrome for Windows 10 on ARM: Report

Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm Working on Chrome for Windows 10 on ARM: Report
Samsung and Lenovo both have unveiled Snapdragon 850 laptops recently, and in order to make these Qualcomm Snapdragon laptops compatible with all Windows apps, Microsoft announced Visual Studio 15.9 last week. This offers developers an SDK and tools for creating 64-bit ARM (ARM64) apps. The Microsoft Store also began accepting submissions for apps built for the ARM64 architecture. Now, it is reported that Google is working with Microsoft and Qualcomm on Chrome for Windows 10 on ARM, for making these laptops not reliant on Microsoft Edge only.
Google is working on a Windows 10 on ARM port of Google Chrome, and Microsoft as well Qulacomm are said to be contributing to the development of this. 9to5Google reports that a couple dozen commits have been found in Chromium's Gerrit source code management regarding the development of Chrome for Windows 10 on ARM. Microsoft's contribution is a wise move, as many apps rely upon Google Chrome to function efficiently. However, this reportedly doesn't mean that Chrome will arrive on the Microsoft Store, given the store's restrictions for browser engines.
Using Visual Studio 15.9, developers can recompile apps - both UWP and C++ Win32 - as 64-bit ARM apps to run natively on Windows 10 on ARM devices, Microsoft said. Running natively will allow apps to perform better than the emulation method that uses the x86 emulation layer.
As mentioned, Samsung and Lenovo have launched new second-gen Windows 10 on ARM devices powered by the Snapdragon 850 processor and offering beyond-all-day battery. With Visual Studio 15.9, and the fact that a Chrome port is incoming, steady improvement in performance and app compatibility issues are being addressed, and Microsoft, Google, and Qualcomm all seem to think that Windows on ARM holds some potential.

Earlier this week, Asus confirmed that the ZenFone Max Pro M2 will launch in Indonesia on December 11. The new poster corroborates previous render and specifications leaks, confirming a triple camera setup at the back, and a display notch up front. Furthermore, the back panel is seen to sport a gradient finish as well. Previous leaks suggest that the ZenFone Max Pro M2 will come in two variants, with one variant sporting a triple camera setup, while the second variant will only sport a dual camera setup and come with a cheaper price tag.
Asus Indonesia has tweeted the smartphone's teaser poster, with the tagline 'The Real Pro is coming'. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 ZB631KL is said to come with 6-inch full-HD+ display, triple rear camera setup, 13-megapixel selfie camera, 4GB RAM, 32GB/ 64GB onboard storage, and a Snapdragon 660 SoC. Comparing it to its predecessor, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 ₹ 8,199 does not have a display notch up front, and it sports a dual camera setup at the back and a rear fingerprint scanner as well. Earlier, the company had made available the ZenFone Max Pro M1 first in India, but as of now, no Indian launch event has been leaked or announced for the successor Zenfone Max Pro M2
